Someone asked me recently what I think of women with tattoos. First, I want to make it clear that I’m strictly talking about physical appearance here. I’m speaking as a heterosexual man who is attracted to women. I don’t make any type of moral judgments about someone based on tattoos. I don’t believe that tattoos says anything about a person’s character or values. I’m all for people’s freedom to look however they want to look. If you’re happy with the way you look then that’s all that matters. This is strictly a personal preference of mine.

So in my opinion, tattoos never help. By that I mean they never make any woman look better. I’ve never looked at a woman and thought, if she had a tattoo she’d be hot (or hotter). If I find a woman attractive, a tattoo, or multiple tattoos, will either have no effect on how she looks, or it will make her look worse. And when it comes to looking worse, It’s hard for me to define exactly where the limit is. Obviously, there’s a difference between a woman with a butterfly on her ankle and a woman with a bald eagle across her chest. Generally, facial tattoos, like the woman above, are an immediate turn off. Also an over-abundance of tattoos across the body, like this:

That’s a little too much for me. But then I still think adult film star Christy Mack looks good here:

That’s a couple of years ago, she’s got more tattoos on her arms and side now, but it’s hard to find pictures that show them off where she isn’t also naked. Still I don’t think she’s overdone it yet. But even with smaller tattoos, the wrong one can make a huge difference. Take rapper/actress Eve, for example:

Those little cat paws on her chest always bugged me. I don’t know why, but they just distract me. I don’t like ’em.

Again, just a personal preference.
