Lady Chatterley’s Stories: THE MANUSCRIPT

Chloe Nicole

Before I had started rewatching some of the episodes of this series to review them it had been a long time since I’d seen them. Thus I had forgotten that Chloe Nicole replaced Shauna O’Brien in the role of Lady Chatterley in two episodes. This one I’m reviewing today is her first appearance.

Written by R. Lord and directed by Daryl Haney, the episode takes place on a dark and stormy night. Lady Chatterley is in her living room with two friends, Jonathan and Amy (David Christensen and Veronica Hart), a married couple who are visiting her on vacation from New York, but they’re all bored and stuck inside because of the rain. With nothing to do, Lady Chatterley mentions that her friend, a successful erotic author, had recently stayed with her and left behind his latest incomplete manuscript. So Amy asks Lady Chatterley to read it to them.

The story is from the POV of a man named Eric (played by Brad Bartram), who talks about how he’s been having an affair behind his wife’s back, and we see him in bed with his mistress, April (played by Kristen Harner), who came over right after his wife left town for a weekend trip. It’s a hot scene, but as they’re lying in bed afterward, they’re surprised when his wife Gwen (Gina Ryder) unexpectedly comes back home. As Eric tries to cover up and make and sneak April out, Gwen reveals that she knows about the affair and has come back to catch him red-handed.

It’s at this point that the manuscript ends, and Amy and Jonathan are wondering what happened next. Lady Chatterley says that she knows the real people that this story is based on. But instead of telling them what happened, she wants them each to guess. So, first, Amy tells her idea.

Back to the scene, Gwen reveals that she’s known of this affair for a long time, and has been having an affair herself with her lawyer, who is younger and hotter than Eric and will be handling her divorce because she’s leaving Eric, and goes into the bedroom to pack her stuff. April thinks this means she and Eric can be together now, but he tells her to get out. He goes into the room and begs Gwen to forgive him and say so they can work things out. She seems to give in and they have sex. But after it’s over she tells him that it was just one last fling so he can always remember what he lost, and she leaves.

Back in the mansion, Amy says that Gwen went on to marry her lawyer and is very happy with him, while Eric is alone and miserable.

Then it’s Jonathan’s turn, and he tells the story where Gwen reveals that she and April have been having an affair for a while, with Gwen saying they’re in love and that no man has ever satisfied her like another woman can. But April needed to be with a man, to see how it felt before she could commit to Gwen, so Gwen gave her permission to seduce Eric to “get it out of her system,”  and now it’s April’s time to choose whom she wants to be with. Eric tries to convince April to choose him, but she chooses Gwen and both of them kick Eric out and then have lesbian sex.

Finally, Lady Chatterley reveals the truth, which is sort of a mix of the two stories that Amy and Jonathan guessed. Gwen revealed that she did indeed know of the affair. She had suspected that Jonathan might cheat so she sent April to tempt him, although she didn’t expect April to go all the way with it. April says she didn’t originally plan to have sex with Eric but got carried away. Gwen says that when April told her, instead of getting angry she got excited, and had April tell her about all of their encounters as they continued, but she came back that day because she finally had to see it for herself. The scene ends back in the bedroom, with Eric and April having sex again as Gwen sits naked on a chair and masturbates as she watches them.

Back at the mansion, Lady Chatterley reveals that when it was over, Eric and Gwen stayed married and April moved in with them. Amy and Jonathan don’t believe her at first, because that sounds too crazy, but there’s a little plot twist at the end.

I always liked Gina Ryder and wish she had done more softcore projects. Kristen Harner is hot too. All of their sex scenes with Brad Bartram, a softcore pro who’s always good at his job, are great. But I have to ding the episode a bit because the Gina/Kristen lesbian scene is cut shot, so it could have been hotter. I think there was also a missed opportunity at the end to have a threesome scene, instead of Gina’s character just watching the others.

Still, it’s a pretty good episode. Chacebook rating: FOUR STARS
