Written by Anora Leachim and directed by Francis Locke, this 2005 film from Torchlight Pictures stars Monica Mayhem and Ann Marie Rios as Sara and Carla, two good friends who, after seeing a commercial on TV, decide to take a little vacation at what they believe is a fancy island resort called Escapades. But when they arrive, they find out that the place is a rundown little dump. It’s not even a hotel, it’s really just a couple of huts on the island, there are no other guests, and the advertised golf course is one little mini-golf machine. They want to leave immediately, but once they’re dropped off the next Ferry to take them off of the island won’t arrive until 6 days.

Alex Ryan and Frank Fortuna play Fred and Billy, the owners and only employees of the “resort.” Both of them try to make up excuses for the crappy conditions, like claiming there was a recent hurricane that damaged the respot so they’re in the middle of repairs, even though hurricane season is months away. Fred also puts a wig on and pretends to be Barney, the bellboy, although neither woman is fooled. Sara remains frustrated, but Carla decides to try to make the best of it.

While Sara goes out to the bar, Billy offers a complimentary massage to Carla, which she accepts. This massage is just sex, which Carla really enjoys. She later tells Sara about it, and Sara decides to get a massage from Billy too, which is also just a sex scene. Sara also has sex with Fred in the end, and there’s a plot twist to this story which, even though I know it doesn’t matter, I’m not going to spoil here.

In addition to those three sex scenes that I just mentioned, there are two more. There’s one between Fred and an unnamed woman played by Amber Michaels. She and Fred filmed the commercial for the resort that Sara saw on TV, and they have sex afterward.  There’s also a lesbian sex scene with Sara and another unnamed woman played by Suzette Spencer, this was just a dream sequence that Sara had before she left for the report.

So, yeah, if you’re familiar with Torchlight’s output, you know what to expect. Minimal story, minimal cast, and long slow sex scenes. The scenes range from 8-12 minutes. I’ll just say that if you’re a really big fan of Monica Mayhem, then this is a FIVE STAR film for you. Otherwise, just pass.
