This episode starts off perfectly, with a hot sex scene from Erika Jordan! Sadly it’s her last appearance, but all good things must come to and end.

Spencer and Jennifer are in bed, and after they have sex she turns on the TV to watch Nandi’s dating show. This leads Spencer to tell her it’s time for him and her to take a “break.” Later at the radio station, Spencer finally tells her how he feels, for real, and even kisses her. But she dismisses him at first. But at Gabriel’s urging, he goes to her apartment to try again, telling her he’s in love with her, and they have sex.

It’s good that they finally put those two together, the show has been dragging this plot out for several episodes. But there’s the fact that he was just in bed with Jennifer that kind of sticks out to me. It’s similar to Dmitri, who kept begging Brenda right up to the moment he decides to tell Lauren he’s in love with her. It’s kinda sleazy when you think about it.

Speaking of Dmitri, we see him with his ex’s father watching Harris practice football, and then later Dmitri, Harris, and Lauren are at the beach when Brenda confronts them. She begs Dmitri for another chance but he tells her off and then the three of them leave. But Brenda meets with an actual voodoo priest (Xango Henry), after stealing a brush with some of Dmitri’s hair in it, to perform a ritual to make Dmitri fall in love with her.

Bitch be crazy.

Woody tells Dmitri that he’s quitting working at The Jump Off and planning to start his own club. Later he shows Kenya the space he’s planning for it, and the two of them reconcile.

We also see Chandler and Sabrina having a romantic dinner together, which feels a bit out of place as the two of them never seemed to have a particularly happy marriage in previous episodes, but it’s a hot scene. Meanwhile, we see Earnest and Keith plotting to take Chandler down. I’ll also note that earlier in the episode Earnest bumped into Portia on the street, but they only talked briefly. But later we see her break up with Antonio, so that’s probably leading to something.

A decent episode. We get 3 hot sex scenes, Spencer and Nandi, Gabrial and Kenya, and Chandler and Sabrina, except the last two are shown at the same time, with the camera cutting back and forth between the two couples, which is a technique that I always found distracting.
