Written by Pat Jacobs and directed by Christopher Warre Smets, the major plot of this episode revolves around Cody and Russ, who have signed up to a website where people hook up for one-night stands. This is the site where Stephanie met Frank, whom she hooked up with in the last episode, and Cody is still clearly upset about that.

But not too upset, as he succeeds in getting a “date”, where he shows up to a woman’s house and they roleplay where he pretends to be the plumber that she called to fix her sink. Although once in the kitchen they just have sex on the kitchen counter. Glenda Corneilse plays the woman in this scene, who looks like a porn star, and the scene is very realistic. But checking her IMDB, this was her first role, and she only had 3 more after that. I don’t know what happened to her, but I would have liked to have seen more of her.

EDIT: Apparently the actress in that scene is actually Jasmine Chase (see the comments), and she’s similarly mysterious.

Russ has less success at first, until Cody helps him fill out his profile on the site, and he goes to a bar where, after almost getting into a fight with a butch female firefighter, he meets his date Nina (Jessica Vandenberg) and takes her back to his place to have sex.

Jason is once again taking pictures of Vanessa in the studio, and they start talking about relationships again, as Vanessa misses Josie, her ex-girlfriend from California, and she once again brings up Jason’s “open relationship” with Lacey (which I guess is still going, although we haven’t seen the two of them together since episode 2), and Jason seems upset when she mentions how Lacey is now sleeping with Rick, the firefighter. And then Vanessa and Jason have sex, in an unbelievably hot scene

Later, Vanessa and Lacey are having wine in their loft, and when Lacey asks about how her photoshoot with Jason went, Vanessa doesn’t mention having sex with him. She also asks for some time to think when Lacey asks if she wants to model for her. And that’s where it ends.

In terms of the primary story of this show, Lacey’s lingerie business, this episode didn’t really move anything forward. No mention was even made of Ian stealing Lacey’s designs, although we do see Jeffrey and Stephanie measuring some male model whom they’ve hired as part of Lacey’s new male lingerie line. But we got some hot sex scenes, so it was worth watching.
