Written by Anthony L. Green, and directed by Christopher Warre Smets, this episode starts off with an odd sex scene. I mean, the sex scene is hot, but the premise is weird. Vanessa and Jason are having sex, and while they’re doing it they’re both talking to each other about how it’s the best, and they’ve never had it so good with anyone else, Vanessa asks Jason “not even Lacey?” and he affirms that. Then we see Lacey standing at the doorway watching them. And then Lacey wakes up, this was a dream.

Why is Lacey dreaming about Jason and Vanessa having sex? Up to this point, she’s shown no indication that she has any idea that they’ve recently started banging. Plus she and Jason have barely interacted, certainly not in any intimate way, since episode 2, so this idea that they had some casual “open relationship” doesn’t make sense. And when it comes to intimacy, Lacey’s attention has strictly been on Rick, whom she’s with when she wakes up from that dream.

Rick has driven Lacey out to some remote cabin with him, where they’re going to spend the next 2 days. In addition to things like fishing (and having sex), Lacey is also working on new lingerie designs. Back at home, Marilyn has convinced her boss, a man named Cormac (Sean Kaufmann), to let her use one of his top fashion critics to review Lacey’s lingerie line. She convinced him by fucking him, of course. But this has to happen later that day, and the critic is only available for 20 minutes.

Marilyn, Stephanie, and Jeffrey all tried to get in touch with Lacey, but it took a long time because Lacey was fishing with Rick when they called her, and she didn’t have her phone on her. When she finally gets the message she and Rick try to race back to town, but on the way Rick’s radiator overheats and that stalls his car.

With no professional models at hand, Stephanie and Jeffrey convince Vanessa and Cody to model the lingerie for them, although Cody is quite embarrassed. Lalena Bennett plays Phoebe Lawrence, the critic, and when she shows up Lacey is still not back, so Marilyn, Stephanie, and Jeffrey run the little mini fashion show. We see Vanessa trying on and posing in various lingerie outfits, while Cody is in a variety of speedoes. Pheobe is clearly impressed with Cody, and she ends up going home with him and having sex with him.

Lacey returns late, but thanks to Cody’s “performance,” Phoebe writes a glowing review for Lacey’s lingerie line, and everyone is happy.

This was a good episode, that advanced the main storyline and gave us some hot sex scenes. What more could you ask for? Chacebook rating: FOUR STARS
