Written by D. Alvelo and directed by Robert Angelo, Silence Is Golden is the 12TH episode of the first season of Beverly Hills Bordello and stars the sultry Shauna O’Brien as Lily, one of the escorts working for Veronica (Nicole Gian).

Lily has a regular client, who has one strange request, which is that neither he nor Lily ever speak during their appointments. As the episode begins, Lily doesn’t even know his name. The first appointment we see begins with the two of them in a bedroom, Lily is lying on a couch in just a bra and panties while the man, played by John de Vasequez, is standing over her, still dressed, with a drink in his hand. Lily takes off her bra and the man slowly rubs his glass over her breast, and then she takes off her panties, and the next shot is them having sex on the couch. He’s sitting on it, while she sits on his lap, facing him.

Angela Cornell plays Casey, another escort and a friend of Lily’s. While the ladies are naked in a steam room together, Lily admits that the man really turns her on, she even had a dream about him in which she came so hard that it woke her up. But she’s frustrated because she doesn’t know anything about it, except she managed to spy in Veronica’s appointment book and saw that his name is Doug H. Casey tries to warn Lily against catching feelings for a customer (something Veronica always warned her about) and that she should just be glad that she has a customer who actually gets her off, as Casey admits that she can’t remember the last time she didn’t have to fake it with a customer.

At the next appointment, we see Doug sitting in a chair as Lily stands against the wall in a halter top and miniskirt, which she slowly strips off as he watches. When she’s naked he gets up and joins her and the two of them end up on the couch having sex in the missionary position this time. But just as they’re reaching climax Lily shouts out his name, twice. Doug looks surprised and stops, then gets up and starts putting his clothes back on. Lily begs him to finally talk to him, but he just leaves.

Veronica is so angry that she tells Lily that normally she would have fired her for this, as she could hurt her bordello’s reputation. But she says that Doug made her promise not to fire her, but revealed that he won’t be coming to see Lily anymore.

The next time they’re in the steam room, Casey tells Lily that Doug has booked her for his next appointment, but she’s willing to refuse the job if that hurts Lily too much. Instead, Lily encourages Casey to keep the appointment.

When Doug shows up to meet Casey, she convinces him to let her tie him to a chair with his arms behind his back. Then she stands in front of him, in just her bra and panties, when Lily walks in, naked. Lily slips Casey’s bra off, starts caressing her breasts from behind, and tells Doug that if he wants to see more, he needs to ask her. Doug is clearly frustrated and tries to get free but is unable to do so. When Lily slips her hand down the front of Casey’s panties and starts masturbating her, Doug finally says “please.” 

Casey leaves and Lily walks over to Doug and sits in his lap, facing him. She asks him his name and occupation. He says he’s Douglas Hill, a radio announcer. That’s when Lily says there’s no more need for words, reaches behind the chair, and unties him, and then they have sex, with her still sitting on him.

The episode ends with Lily back in the steam room with Casey, who asks her about how the rest of the appointment with, but Casey just remains silent, while smiling. THE END.

This is one of my favorite episodes of the series as it’s back when Shauna still had her natural breasts. Even though I love big breasts, Shauna’s small natural breasts were perfect on her frame, and she was never as sexy to me after she got her large bolt-on breast implants. Her three sex scenes with de Vasquez are all slow and romantic.

The only thing that will keep me from giving this a perfect score is because of how they wasted Angela Cornell here. Sure, it was hot seeing her naked in the few scenes, but they teased us with either a full lesbian scene with Shauna, or a threesome with Shauan and de Vasquez, but didn’t deliver either. That just felt like such a wasted opportunity. Nevertheless, this is one of my favorite episodes of the series. Chacebook rating: FOUR STARS
