CHLOE NICOLE

Written by Karen O’Hara and directed by Chris Tudor, this episode stars Chloe Nicole as a woman named Stephanie, who calls into Veronica’s (Angela Nicholas) show to talk about her past history with “bad boys.” Stephanie went to an all-girls Catholic High School and admits she was the stereotypical good Catholic schoolgirl who had a biker boyfriend that she liked even though she knew he was no good for her. 8 years later, as an adult, she was still into bad boys and was dating and living in an apartment with a biker named Alex (played by Evan Stone).

Stephanie and Alex have hot sex, but we quickly see that he wasn’t exactly a great partner. He’s always broke and makes her pay for stuff when they go out, and he just isn’t very attentive to her. We see her one day trying to get her car started, and she asks Alex for help, but he’s too busy working on his motorcycle. Lane Anderson plays their neighbor Mike, a young, ambitious attorney. He comes by, offers to look at her engine, and gets the car started quickly, which she’s grateful for, while Alex dismisses him as a “suit.”

Later, Mike checks in on Stephanie while she’s home alone, trying to move a big couch in her living room. Mike moves it for her, and while he’s doing it, Stephanie fantasizes about having sex with him on her couch.

In another scene, we see Alex having sex with a woman named Amber (played by Alexa Rae) at the apartment when Stephanie comes home from grocery shopping. Alex and Amber quickly get dressed, and when Stephanie comes in, they pretend that Alex just gave Amber a ride home and that she was using their bathroom. Stephanie suspects the truth and storms out, crying. Mike hears her in the hallway and comforts her, but Alex comes off pushing them apart, and then Mike punches Alex in the face, knocking him down.

This still wasn’t enough for Stephanie to dump Alex next. But while Alex supposedly goes to visit his mother for a weekend, Stephanie decides to paint their apartment (she says Alex planned his visit specifically to avoid helping her), she goes out of her way to make noise so that Mike would hear her and come to check it out. When he comes by, she comes on to him, and they have sex. She ends her story by telling Veronica she has a good guy now.

Well, the sex scenes looked realistic, which is understandable since both Chloe and Evan were hardcore pornstars. You’ll likely be happy with this episode if you’re into Chloe Nicole. But while she’s a good actress, better than average for many softcore TV shows and films, she’s never been my physical type. Plus, the story felt flat. I get why Chloe would want someone like Mike instead of Alex, but why would Mike want someone like her? And there’s the fact that she couldn’t even break up with Alex first; it’s like she was waiting to make sure she had another man lined up before she got rid of him. So she wasn’t the sympathetic character that the episode tried to make her out to be for me.
