This film, written by Stephen Ginsburg and directed by William Wildest, was released on video in the year 2000 as part of the loosely related SEX FILES brand. The film stars Shauna O’Brien and Jarod Carey as Claire and Mike. She’s an up and coming actress and he’s a screenwriter. They two of them rent a old mansion for six months, while Mike works on his latest screenplay, which he hopes will be his masterpiece.

The mansion used to belong to Valerie Parks, a famous film actress from the 1940s, who tragically died in car accident, two weeks before he finished filming a movie called The Last Widow, which never got completed. One their first night there, Claire and Mike find the film real of the The Last Widow and an old film projector in the attic and watch it.

Amber Newman and Jason Schnuit play the couple’s friends, Melissa and Paul. She’s a former actress herself, and Paul is a film director. They reveal that the studio is going to film a new version of The Last Widow and Claire is invited to audition for a supporting role in it.

Well, to get to the point of the story, the mansion is haunted by Valeria’s ghost, and she slowly attempts to possess Clair’s body, in order to take over her life and get a starring role in the movie. Or something. It’s silly, but I appreciate the attempt at a suspenseful story. I can’t say they pulled it off, but they tried.

The film includes Griffin Drew in the role of Valerie Parks, Shyra Deland as Dawn, a Medium who is hired by Melissa to hold a seance to speak to Valerie’s ghost, Robert Donavan as Richard, an old actor who costarred in The Last Widow with Valeria, Samantha Phillips as the real estate agent who rented the mansion to Claire and Mike, and Steven Ginsburg as Joel, an actor we see filming a scene in another movie with Clair in the opening scene of this film.

The film is an hour and 21 minutes, and along the way we get 10 sex scenes, most of which include Shauna O’Brien. She has 3 scenes with Jarod Carey, and also single scenes with Steve Ginsburg, Amber Newman, Griffin Drew, Jason Schnuit, Robert Donavan, and one with a man who plays a casting director, who’s name isn’t listed in the credits he looks familiar to me, but I don’t know where from)

Shauna also has a solo scene where she’s in a bathtub, and the film reel from the original version of The Last Widow slides into the tub with her and wraps around her body, as she gets turned on and masturbates.

Yeah, that looks as silly as it sounds, and I’m sure the water can’t be good for film, but Shauna sure looks like she’s really turned on. Even though this takes place after Shauna got her big bad breast implants, she puts her all into every scene.

Amber Newman and Griffin Drew each have a sex scene with Jarod Carey, and Shyra Deland also has sex with the man who plays casting director.

So it’s good cast with some hot sex scenes, I’d say that makes this film worthy of watch. Chacebook rating: FOUR STARS
