Written by April White and Edward Gorsuch and directed by C.W. DeVeaux, this 2005 film is another softcore greatest hits film. This is a plot device where a studio takes a bunch of previously filmed sex scenes and reuses them with a newly-shot framing device to make a new film. In this case, the sex scenes were all taken from various episodes of the TV series Lady Chatterly’s Stories, which originally ran for 17 episodes in 2000-2001 (featured several episodes written by White and Gorsuch).

For the new scenes, we’ve got Steven St. Croix as Jerod, a film director, and Syren as his editor, Sam. Jerod has just finished shooting a new movie, and Sam is helping him edit it. This is a sexy film, but Jerod isn’t sure that some of the scenes work the way he wanted them to, and so he’s going over the film again trying to figure out what if any scene he should cut. Michelle Lay plays Kate, the studio boss, who’s trying to rush Jerod to complete the film, and Brett Ryan stars as Mark, the gopher working in the studio. Over the course of the film they all watch some scenes from the movie, and also sometimes talk about the sexual escapades of various people they know, to compare them.

As a framing device for a film like this, is a decent premise. It doesn’t need to be too sophisticated, as long as the story gives ample reason to cut to the next scene, then it works.
Along the way, we do get three new scenes, as Jerod has sex with Sam and with Kate, and the two ladies also have sex with each other. In the end (spoiler alter?), the film is completed and ready for release. So all’s well that ends well.

We get 14 previously-filmed sex scenes. Luckily I recognized most of the actors.

Kim Sill, who’s supposed to be the star of Jerod’s movie, has three scenes. Two with Vinnie Cannelli and one with Shauna O’Brien.

Goldie Gray and Lensi Ray have a threesome scene with David Usher.
Yvette Faulkner, Julia Kruis, and Holly Sampson each have one scene with Justin Carroll.
And Regina Russell Banali and Alina Thompson each have sex scenes with men that I don’t recognize.

This is a good collection of scenes, a lot for just an hour and 15 minutes of film. But for me the it’s the three new scenes with SYREN that make this worth watching.
