Here were are at the second to last episode of the season, written by Zane and directed by Jean Moody.
Spencer and Nandi are now officially together. We see them in bed “making up for lost time.” Spencer isn’t happy that Nandi still has one more date to shoot for her reality show, but she assures him that it’s just to fulfill her contract. And the date, with a former NBA player played by Reggie White Jr., goes as bad as all of her previous dates, so next time we see her and Spencer at the radio station together it’s hard for them to keep their hands off of each other while they’re broadcasting. It seems like they’ve already got their happy ending.
Dmitri is home from his surgery, he has his arm in a sling again, and he seems optimistic. Harris drives him home for the hospital, where Lauren is waiting for him. Brenda is stll stalking Dmitri, and she goes to complain to the voodoo priest that his ritual didn’t work. So he proposes a new one, but this will cost a lot of money.
And now Woody has his own stalker situation. Just as he’s reconciled with Kenya, now Gisele is trippin’, not happy about being tossed aside. Although he points out that he never promised her anything (which is true, so he’s not quite the dog that Dmitri was).
Aspen has told Gabriel that she’s decided to reveal to Sabrina the proof she recieved in episode 8 about Chandler’s affair. Gabriel still doesn’t want her to get involved, which makes her made at him because it’s like he’s condoning adultery (which he kinda is). But later when Aspen is out shopping with Sabrina, she can’t bring herself to say anything. It doesn’t help Sabrina admit to fantasizing about Earnest.
And Earnest is still working on his scheme to take down Chandler, the details of which are a bit unclear to me (probably because I don’t really care about that plot), but the show ends with Chandler calliing Earnest and threatening him.
Three hot sex scenes: Dmitri and Lauren, Gabriel and Aspen, and Spence and Nandi. It’s a good episode, but feels like a bit of place-holder before the big finale.
Chacebook rating: FOUR STARS
