Busty Twins is another Jim Wynorski softcore masterpiece, written under his alias Thaddeus Wickwire and directed under his other alias H.R. Blueberry, for who knows what reason. Originally released in 2005 under the title “Lust Connection”, this is actually a remake of a movie that Wynorski made in 1995 called “Virtual Desire.” I had that one on tape many years ago, but not now. And it’s long out of print, I can’t find a copy of the unrated version anywhere, or else I would have reviewed that first to compare and contrast. I don’t know why Wynorski chose to re-use that plot, I’d like to think it was because he realized that the idea of people using the internet to meet and have sex was something even more prevalent in our society in 2005 than it was back in 1995, and therefor that would make this film more timely if updated for the present. But it’s probably more likely that he just had access to the house that the majority of this film takes place in (the same house that he filmed The Witches of Breastwick 1 & 2, The Breastford Wives, and The House on Hooter Hill) & was like, fuck it, I’ve got a couple of days, I should make a movie while I’m here. So he called up some actresses (a great collection of softcore AND hardcore talent) and then he just pulled out this old script so he could get this done as quickly as possible.

Frank Harper (aka Chip Albers) stars as Rick, a successful internet entrepreneur, and Glori-Anne Gilbert plays his beautiful busty blond wife, Susan. The film opens with a hot scene between Rick and Susan having sex late at night in their outdoor hot tub. The next day we see Susan get back into the hot tub by herself and masturbate. Then someone (all we see are the person’s hands) sneaks behind her and holds her down in the tub until she drowns.

Jay Richardson plays the homicide detective, Blake, who investigates the case and immediately suspects Rick. Unfortunately for Rick, he has no albi (he was just driving around alone at the time), but he swears that he didn’t do it. Gilbert also plays Jenny, Susan’s beautiful busty brunette sister, who seems instantly willing to believe in Rick’s innocence, and is even willing to lie and say she was with him, to give him an alibi. Soon we learn that Rick had been cheating on Susan with a variety of women that he’d met through internet chatrooms. But when Det. Blake finds out, all that does is make him suspect Rick even more, and he refuses to investigate any of those women, and just tells Rick to do it himself (that’s some police work…). And so we get flashback scenes of these sexual encounters, as Rick reminisces.

First there’s Julie K. Smith as Sasha, whom we see perform a sexy striptease in a bathtub while Rick watches via webcam (although I don’t see any webcam attached to his PC, but nevermind). Then later she unexpectedly shows up at Rick’s house while Susan is out grocery shopping, and they have sex on the couch. There’s also an unnamed woman, played by Jodie Moore, whom he has sex with in his home gym on the exercise equipment (don’t try that at home, kids, it could be dangerous). Softcore legend Monique Parent plays Beth, whom he gets together with and has sex in the woods, both on a blanket and while standing up against a tree. Holly Hollywood plays Lisa, whom Rick meets in a hotel room to have sex. There’s also Cora (Avy Scott), who Rick snuck over so they could have sex in the house while Susan was in another room. And Chasey Lain plays Molly, who pretends to be a pizza delivery girl and comes to Rick’s house so they can have sex in the kitchen.

There’s plenty more Glori-Anne Gilbert action in this film, in addition to the opening scene. As Susan, we get two more scenes of her with Rick. Rick watches a videotape of he and Susan having sex on the couch, and then there’s a scene of the two of them in bed (where Gilbert does a really impressive split). When Rick confesses to Jenny of his affairs, he’s shocked to find out that she already knew. She’s friends with Lisa and went with her to the hotel and then hid in the closet and watched as Lisa and Rick had sex. When Rick tells her of one woman he met on online named Desiree, who he met at her cabin but she made him wear a blindfold while they had sex in front of a fireplace, we the audience can see that it was actually Jenny, although Rick doesn’t know that.

I won’t spoil the ending (because I know you all watch movies like this for the plot, right?), other than to say that it ends with a bang!

Plot-wise, it’s rather weak and illogical. But, damn, there are some good sex scenes here. Particularly for the Glori-Anne Gilbert fans, as she shows off her ample assets here from every direction. The only thing missing was a lesbian scene. And you can never go wrong with Monique Parent or Julie K. Smith, they always sizzle the screen. I’ll also single-out Avy Scott’s scene, she was great. I wish she did more softcore films. Hollywood, Moore, and Laine also bring the heat. With all those lovely ladies in it, I can’t help but give this FIVE STARS.
