TAYLOR ST. CLAIR aka TAYLOR ST. CLAIRE

Written by Anthony L. Greene and directed by Chris Tudor, this episode is notable at least for the fact that it takes place on what is meant to be the one-year anniversary of Veronic (Angela Nicholas) hosting The Best Sex Ever show on radio. To mark the occasion, she says that that night’s topic is sexy anniversary gifts. Lezley Zen plays Leslie, who calls in to tell Veronica about the gift she and her husband recently gave each other for their five-year anniversary.

Frank Mercuri plays Leslie’s husband, Barry. Leslie says that every year, they try to come up with some kind of sexy adventure for their anniversary, mentioning that previous anniversaries had them going to a nudist colony one year and to a kama sutra retreat another. The latter is interesting to me because both Lezley and Frank will return to the show later in the season, where they play different characters in a story about a married couple who go to a kama sutra retreat. But I digress.

We get a scene of Leslie and Barry in bed at night, watching a porn scene together. Although Leslie is initially uncomfortable watching it, they both end up getting turned on enough to have sex. This leads the two of them come up with the idea of shooting their own porn scene. They look up a company called Sexy Pictures, which is a little film studio where couples can shoot professional-looking porn scenes, complete with scripts, costumes, and specialized sets. Leslie and Barry go to the studio and meet Tama, the owner (played by Taylor St. Clair), who talks about how everything works. They’re given their set and can either get an automatic camera to film them, or they can have an actual cameraman, who would be her partner Chad (Chris Gustafson), if they’re comfortable having other people in the room while they have sex. Leslie and Barry say they’ll go home to think about it, and Tama gives them a sample tape to take to judge the studio’s work.

The video turns out to be a scene starring Tama and Chad. Tama, wearing a blonde wig, is at home in short shorts and a skimpy top when Chad comes by to repair her air condition. As he starts to work, she goes to the bathroom but leaves the door open as she strips out of her clothes and takes a shower. Chad sneaks in the doorway and watches her for a bit before she sees him and invites him to join her, and they have sex in the shower. This tape turns Leslie and Barry on enough to book an appointment to shoot their video, planning to use an automatic camera.

When the time comes, they get to the studio, but Tama tells them that their automatic camera is broken. It can be fixed in a week, but Leslie and Barry are determined to film that day, as it’s officially their anniversary. Tama offers them 50% off for her and Chad to film the video and Leslie and Barry agree. The set is a fancy bedroom, and they’re dressed like old British nobles or something. They have dialog but it’s not important. It’s just a hot sex scene.

Leslie tells Veronica how much they loved the experience, and Veronica has a surprise. Tama has just called in on the other line, saying she and Chad were listening to the show and recognized Leslie’s voice, and she wanted to add that after she and Chad finished the video for Leslie and Barry they got excited and shot another video together using the same set. So it was a great experience for everyone.

Lezley Zen and Taylor St. Clair were both hardcore actresses whose work I enjoyed, and they also dabbled in softcore and were just as good in that. Getting two hot scenes from each of them makes this episode a favorite of mine. Chacebook rating: FIVE STARS
