Lezley Zen

Today, I get to review one of my favorite episodes of this series. Directed by Chris Tudor and written by Anthony L. Greene, this episode stars Dino Bravo and Lezley Zen (making her second appearance on this show) as Larry and Pauline, a married couple. Larry calls into the Best Sex Ever radio show to tell Veronica (Angela Nicholas) about a time when he and Pauline learned how to become better lovers.

They’d been married for a year at the time, and they seemed happy, both in and out of the bedroom. We got an early sex scene with them, and there didn’t appear to be any dissatisfaction from either of them. One weekend, a couple of friends invited them to join them on a trip to a remote yoga and meditation retreat, and they accepted. When they get there, the place looks beautiful, with lovely outside gardens.

Amy Lindsay and Frank Mercuri play Julie and John, another married couple who invited Larry and Pauline. Julie and John reveal that they weren’t entirely honest about the place; it’s actually a Kama Sutra retreat, where couples learn how to have better sex (new positions, techniques, etc.). Julie and John wanted to come but needed to bring another couple for it. Larry’s immediate reaction is to leave, he thinks it’s freaky and that he and Pauline don’t need this. But Pauline, mentioning that “Things haven’t been perfect lately,” wanted to stay and implored Larry to at least give it one night. Pauline said that if they didn’t like it, they could leave the next morning, and Larry reluctantly agreed.

Syren plays Shiva, who runs the place. The two couples meet with her in one of the gardens for their first lesson, which is to show the men how to sensually undress their wives. Shiva has John go first, undressing Julie (which isn’t too difficult as she’s only wearing a robe and is naked underneath), then getting undressed himself (just down to his shorts) and laying Julie down on a blanket. Then it’s Larry’s turn, and despite his embarrassment about getting naked in front of other people, he goes along, and soon Pauline is lying nude on her blanket while he’s in his shorts. Then, Shiva instructs the two men how to slowly kiss and caress their wives’ bodies. And that’s it for the day.

It doesn’t seem like much of a “lesson” to me for what’s supposed to be a fancy Kama Sustra retreat, but whatever.

Back in their room at night, which has two separate beds, they’re supposed to go to sleep, as Shiva had instructed them not to have sex that night because they’re supposed to be abstaining in order to build up sexual tension or something, but Larry pushes the beds together and convinces Pauline to let him give her a massage, and then afterward she massages him. But then Shiva walks in and takes Pauline away to keep them apart for the night. Shiva takes Syren to her own bedroom and seduces Pauline herself in one of my favorite softcore girl/girl scenes. Syren was always excellent in softcore (I’ve actually seen more of her softcore work than her hardcore work), especially in g/g scenes.

Meanwhile, left alone in his bedroom, Larry hears some sounds outside and goes to investigate. He catches Julie and John having sex on a blanket outside and secretly watches them from behind a bush.

The next day, Larry and Pauline join Shiva at the same spot as before, and this time, Shiva sits and watches as the two of them have sex. We see them in several different positions that Shiva presumably taught them, although we never saw that. Nevertheless, it’s a hot scene, which sort of morphs into a third scene between them, as we’re told that Shiva lent them her bedroom for their final night at the retreat, and we see the two of them having sex again on her bed (the same bed Pauline cheated on Larry with Syren the night before, but it’s unclear if Larry ever found out about that).

As Larry tells Veronica, his and Pauline’s sex has been better than ever since then. So all’s well that ends well.

The only complaint I could make is that I wish there was a little more of Syren in action. But Lezley Zen is also excellent, and her three sex scenes are worth it. Amy Lindsay has also been a longtime softcore favorite of mine, so her scene was also hot and worth watching. As I said, this episode is one of my favorites of this series.
