SOFTCORE FILMS

INSATIABLE CRAVINGS

Released in 2006, from MRG Entertainment, this film is directed by J.W. McHausen, but no writer is listed in the credits. It stars Jacy Andrews and Kraig Kraagen as Cara and Dane, a happy couple who are living together. The film opens with a romantic love scene between them, with lots of deep kissing.

Then Dane takes Cara out for a drive somewhere for a surprise. They arrive at a large house and Cara is unhappy to see Monica (Syren), Dane’s friend there already, waiting outside with her new boyfriend Rick (Kevin Patrick). Cara doesn’t like Monica because she and Dane used to be Friends With Benefits, although Dane swears they’re just platonic now. Also soon joining them is Cara’s friend Lisa and her boyfriend Michael (Sydnee Steele and Frank Mercuri.

As unhappy as Cara is to see Monica, she’s even more unhappy when Dane announces that he’s bought this house. It used to be a famous (or infamous) bordello back in the 1920s, until it was shut down by the police after one of the working girls there disappeared and was never found. Suspicious was on the Madame of the time, but she swore she was innocent and was never charged for anything. Cara is upset because she wants to get married, but Dane has hesitated because he owes a lot of debt from student loans, which he wants to take care of before getting married, so she doesn’t understand why he’s spend money on this large house instead of paying off his debt.  That is a good point, but he insists that this is still a good investment for their future.

Everyone goes inside to look around the place. Lisa and Michael sneak off to have sex. Cara remains upset, especially since she thinks Monica is being openly flirtatious with Dane. She decides to get revenge by getting Rick alone and prosing that they have an affair, and since this is a softcore movie, Rick instantly goes along with it and they have sex, but they’re both a little disappointed that no one catches them.

Later Cara gets made at some snarky comments Monica makes and slaps her and storms off. Naturally, Dane decides to take Monica to another room to comfort her and, you guessed it, they have sex. The film cuts to night time (yeah, I guess the plan was for all 3 couples to spend the weekend in the house, although we didn’t see anyone bringing any kind of luggage with them), where Lisa is waked in the middle of the night by a woman’s scream outside, but when she looks she doesn’t see anything.

The next morning Dana is missing, but nobody seems to care too much, because they’re too busy cheating on each other. Monica bangs Michael, and Lisa bangs Rick, and then…somehow, Monica disappears, then Cara reappears, and Dane proposes to her which she accepts and they have sex again to live happily ever after. I guess.

So this story here was a mess, which is probably why whoever wrote it didn’t want their name on it. I thought they were going to go for a supernatural ghost story, with the background of missing hooker, but that turned out to be completely pointless.

The cast is pretty decent (except for Sydnee Steele, who shows almost no emotion when reciting her lines) but aren’t given much to work with. The sex scenes are decent, especially the two scenes with Syren in them (plus there’s a solo bathtub masturbation scene with Steele), but not enough to save this mediocre film.

Chacebook rating: THREE STARS

  1. Hey Chace, love the blog, whether it be the erotic stuff or the comics. Loved the reviews especially on the Cinemax shows. There is this one comic, 4 issues only, mini series, about lesbian/bisexual pirates called rawbone, very strange comic with a ending I don’t quite understand, perhaps when you have time, could you take a look at it, I’ve never seen anyone talk about it other than a few niche worst comics rankings, I’d like to get your thoughts.
