This 2005 film, from Mainline Releasing, was written by the talented team of April White and Edward Gorsuch and directed by Victor Dubanai. It’s another softcore compilation film, which takes a bunch of previously recorded sex scenes from other films or TV shows and puts them together in one film.

For the framing sequence, the studio cast Monique Alexander as Sara and Keith Phillips as her boyfriend Matt. The two of them arrive at the luxurious, large house of Sara’s mother and stepfather, to watch it for the weekend while that couple is on vacation. But also at the house is Sara’s stepbrother Luke, played by Jon Calderaro, and his girlfriend Kendra (Courtney Simpson). Sara and Luke do not like each other or get along, for reasons which are unclear at first, and keep taking shots at each other throughout the day. But both Matt and Kendra try to keep the peace, and the two couples open a bottle of wine and sit in the living room where they start sharing stories about the sex lives and relationships of various friends of theirs.

This is where the previously recorded sex scenes are used, as flashbacks.

There is a plot twist in the end, which I’ll go ahead and spoil because who cares? It eventually comes out that Sara and Luke had hooked up before their parents got together, or early on in that relationship, but they had different expectations about what it meant, which is what led to their current combative relationship. This revelation leads to the two couples breaking up and switching partners. We see Matt and Kendra get together, while it’s implied that Sara and Luke will get together.

It’s an interesting little twist. I appreciate the attempt to give this story some deeper personal characterization typical of these types of films. The problem is that neither couple has particularly strong chemistry; they all felt interchangeable from the beginning. We get three new sex scenes, one between Monique and Keith, one between Courtney and Jon, and then one between Courtney and Keith, all of which are decent, at best.

However, we do also get 16 previously recorded sex scenes, which I’ve identified as best as I can.

There are two scenes featuring Kim Yates and three featuring Nikki Fritz, which I know come from the TV series NIGHTCAP, but I’m not sure which episodes (I no longer have them available to rewatch).

There’s a scene featuring Syren and one featuring Nikiti Cash, taken from the Best Sex Ever episode Not On The Menu.

And there are scenes featuring Tane McClure and Brandy Davis, each taken from the Nightcap episode Vivid Imagination.

Each of these scenes are smoking out, those were some of my favorite softcore TV series’, and that alone makes this a film worth watching.
