I bought this over a year ago, literally on January 20th, 2020, but finally just got around to reading it. I think it popped up in my Amazon recommendations list and I bought it on impulse, although it’s not usually the kind of thing I buy as it’s just a short story, 12 pages long. It’s just .99 cents but still, for that or even a little more I can get longer stories or anthologies. But the title intrigued me.

It’s officially credited as being written by Natalee Wood and “Mike D.”, and at first I wondered why it took two authors to write such a short story. But “Mike” is the name of the lead character in the story and it’s written in the first person from his point of view, so I guess Natalee Wood just added his name to the credits to carry the illusion that this is a true story.

Mike is telling this story that he says took place back in the summer of 2000, when he was 18 and had just graduated high school. He often hung out with his best friend Jason, and this was their last summer of “freedom” before going off to college and becoming adults. Jason’s parents were cool, and would let him and Jason drink alcohol, smoke weed, and have girls over at their place, which is why Mike was over their so much. This event took place on the Fourth of July that year.

Mike was over at Jason’s and they were watching fireworks that evening with Jason’s mother Jane. The boys were planning to go to a party afterward, while Jason’s father was going to take Jane out that night. But while the boys are there Mike overhears Jane on the phone with her husband who has to work late, and Jane is made because she was all dressed up and ready to go out. Then while watching the fireworks, Mike notices Jane making eyes with him and suspects that she’s silently flirting. So he makes an excuse to meet up with Jason later as both of them leave separately for the party, but then Mike circles back to the house and finds Jane in her bedroom masturbating, and that’s when the fun begins.

So the rest of the story describes the sex between Mike and Jane, who is described as in her forties, with red hair, a tan, and a lean body. It’s well written, I can’t deny that. But it’s not quite what I like in stories of this type. I’m definitely into the older woman/younger man scenario, but I like it when the woman is the seductress and the young man is inexperienced so she’s teaching him what to do. But Mike is no innocent virgin (this is actually the 2nd story Natalee has written about this character, apparently in the first one he fucked Jason’s girlfriend), he’s well experienced, he starts by going down on Jane and bringing her to an intense orgasm before he then fucks her from behind until she orgasms again while he cums inside her.
After that, they agree to never do it again, but Mike makes it clear that where more sexual encounters between him and Jane (and others).

For what it is, it’s a good story. As I said, the exact scenario is not my favorite, but based on what I read here I intend to look through Natalee Wood’s catalog and see if there are some longer stories that are more my type because she definitely has talent in writing erotica.
